So it's about an hour before I board my plane and I'm sitting here in the Tampa Airport terminal, my laptop connected to an outlet providing the power to the outlet of thoughts as I contemplate how this year's gone for me with one more full day left in the fifth year of the third millennium anno domini (or Common Era for those who don't recognize the whole Almighty thing). Rarely do I wear the watch my parents gave me for my graduation from college but I decided to start in order to try to look a little more professional (nevermind that the people I worked with all thought I was older already). I always wondered if it was real or real fake and someone here said an easy way to tell was whether (tangent: the weather here is pretty damn nice for a late December day) the second hand moved smoothly or it ticked at every second. And that's how I'll describe how my year went. It was real.
I guess that doesn't really make sense but the way I look at it is that it kind of just went by as a blur. I tried thinking back and the whole year kind of melds into one. This differs from last year where I can point to a couple of different events here and there that are more or less significant (e.g. Officially done with school, New Orleans, Summer, Europe, Mexico). Maybe another analogy might be something like, last year was bullet points as opposed to this year's paragraph.
I don't really think it's a bad thing. Perhaps it's just a sign of aging. I read an article about how as you age, time seems to move more quickly. One theory is that because things don't change as often, we don't notice things as much. And I guess this year remained pretty status quo for me. I went back and looked through my blogs and I couldn't find many (there's probably a good number of reasons).
The biggest change has been my occassional business trips. But for the most part, I'm at home. Maybe things are just getting a little more real. I'm slowly assimilating into the real world; I'm going from home-body, jobless, college graduate to a professional, but very slowly. It feels like there should be something more to this year for me but when I look back at it, I don't know how I'd describe it. But then again, I don't know how I'd describe the year before last, or the year before that. Maybe last year was my last kick-ass year. Man. How depressing.
New Year's resolution: Make 2006 a kick-ass year with a bullet.
And lose some damn weight you fat ass.

"Booya"
I know most of these are stupid but I get a kick out of some of them. Some even warrant a guffaw out loud and I think, "I'm an idiot for thinking these are funny." I was going to save some of these and use them to describe various friends but that would just be stealing. So here they are:
The Top Thirty Random Vin Diesel Facts. And the inspiration for the title of this particular post: The Top Thirty Random Chuck Norris Facts. As a plus for the Chuck Norris ones, here's some funny videos from Conan O'Brien's show and "Walker: Texas Ranger".

Musophobia (aka Murophobia)
While I wouldn't want anyone to question my manliness, it has recently come to my attention that I may have a fear of mice. I don't know that my fear can be classified as a real phobia but, I do know that it takes quite a bit of courage for me to confront mice (mind you, ones of the Bluetooth and optical laser variety I am quite comfortable with). Although in a pet store I may be able to handle one, the wild mus musculus is another story.
I've spent the last week and a half at my parents' new house in Roseville, CA helping my dad paint various rooms and making sure the landscapers are doing their job. Late one night earlier in the week, my brother and I heard scratching noises coming from the walls and assumed a mouse was there. We didn't see it but knew there had to be something in the walls. Rather than get normal mousetraps you see in cartoons, my parents decided to buy glue traps. Basically, they're pads that a mouse will run onto but won't be able to leave. We laid the traps late last week.
Everyone left on Sunday while I stayed behind. Before my dad left, he made sure to tell me, "If a mouse is caught, don't leave it for us to clean up." I was good until I was about to leave on Tuesday. As luck would have it, while I was getting ready to leave, there a mouse was stuck to the glue trap. It screamed. It violently jerked trying to free itself of its sticky confines. I shuttered.
For a good fifteen to thirty minutes I argued with myself about whether or not I should take the mouse out or leave it and say, "I never saw a mouse." I finally gathered up the courage to approach it and everytime I got closer, it shook more. I knew that as much as I couldn't stand it, it was scared even more. Finally, I decided to get a paper cup and cover it so I wouldn't see it shaking and put it into a plastic bag. As much as I didn't like the mouse, I didn't like the cruel and slow death it was going to face. But I guess I had to do it, so I left it in our garbage can and wiped the sweat off my brow.
I can't believe such a small thing required me to gather up the courage to face it. I swear I walked past it a couple of times keeping my eyes in an opposite direction so I wouldn't see it. Hearing it and watching it struggle to get out was horrible. I hope I don't have to do that again.

My dumps. My lovely lumps of dumps.
This may be a bit of a disgusting or weird blog, but have you ever taken those wonderful dumps? You know, those magnificent releases of weight that brings you instant relief? Or am I the only one? I could be. Haha.
And then do you look at it before you flush it and think, "Look at that. I laid that. Magnificent." Maybe not think those words, but do you look back at your dumps? Haha. Or am I just a really peculiar person?

Human Interaction
I've thought about this a couple of times and it's weird that I'm not doing more to change it but it's strange to me that on a regular day live human interaction is a rarity. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a loner but I think that I'm getting too used to the way things are.
Because I work from home, I lack coworkers. On the rare occassions when I do have a business trip, my interaction with coworkers at the client site is minimal. And my evenings are spent on my own. I'm not complaining and I'm not saying it's a sad existence. I'm just thinking, "Sheesh. I spend a good amount of time on my own."
And then I got to thinking that this whole past year - since my time in Europe - I've spent a good amount of time without a whole lot of human interaction. But is that normal? I know that during work hours, I'm lacking in this area. But after work, is there a lot of interaction that I'm missing out on? I probably am. Hmm... I'm going to ponder this idea further. I don't feel like writing any more.

I forgive you...
... but just for this week, Kevan Barlow. I wasn't going to blog about this but figured that I might want to remember that a future hall of famer pro-bowl running back third-round draft pick with a well-deserved contract extension San Francisco 49er apologized to me. Haha. So here's the story.
We went to an FHM party in downtown San Jose at The Vault on Friday night. There was a good amount of hot girls and Brian, Oliver, and John Tabs were interested in meeting them. But Brian and Oliver abandoned their wingman and John Tabs, myself, and Ei decided to part the crowds and look for them. Me and John were following Ei when we get splashed by some dude's drink. And I was looking back at John saying "What the hell?" when I big African-American dude bumps into me. Then he says "My bad. Sorry about thatand for the season we've been having so far. I'm partly to blame because I haven't lived up to my contract extension. I promise to do a better job running behind the line that we have and hopefully we'll be able to pull off a couple of wins and I can provide Alex Smith with some much needed relief." I didn't think anything of it and just thought he looked like Barlow. So I jokingly said to John, "Haha. That was Kevan Barlow."
We kept walking and John was looking back seeing if it really was him. It turns out it was. John turned around and asked the guy with Barlow (turns out it was a security guard) who it was and he confirmed it. Haha. So I got Barlow's attention and shook hands with him and said "Good game last game." Haha. It's the first thing that came up. He did have a decent game.
Then I told Eileen to go buy him a drink and flirt with him. She didn't. The end.

The Asian Experience
Remember Steven Seagal? Or how bout that movie where he plays a random, quiet, non-assuming guy but happens to be a kick-ass Ninja-like retired Navy Seal who decides to fight? I think I've seen maybe one or two of his movies that I can remember and it seems that's what his role is in all his movies.
Anyhow, I perused that site after wondering if he was any part Asian because apparently he knows how to bottle up Asian-ness and sell it as an experience. Yes. He is now selling his own brand of energy drink, Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt Energy Drink - Asian Experience. I don't know about you, but I find amusement and humor in this.
I also find his "love of rasta music that led him to study with a teacher in Jamaica" amusing. Anyhow, this was hardly a bloggable event but I thought I'd share Steven Seagal's Asian Experience.

Happy Birthday, Google. It's been a fun seven years. I would've gotten you a gift but I couldn't find anything. Oh the irony.

Lawta Joizey Accents Hea
I find it interesting that a good amount of the people working here speak with distinct accents. It's not unexepected, of course, but I find it mildy entertaining. It sort of reminds me of noticing the differences in accents while I was in Europe (which, come to think of it, happened just last year; perhaps I'll blog a retrospective on it at some point).
Then it got me to wondering how accents came about (my horribility at work is evident in my ADD; I go off on a lot of tangents). What do other Tagalog accents sound like? I'm sure if I were to speak Tagalog, I'd have an American accent of sorts. But do Tagalog speakers in different regions of the Philippines have accents? That one guy on TFC seems to speak a little differently. You know which one I'm talking about?I forget which show. Is it Balitang K? I think it's one of those Filipino Hard Copy shows or something. I think it's TV Patrol. That guy cracks me up. I've heard Italian spoken with a Filipino accent while in Rome. That was entertaining, too. Hoy, tutto benne.

"Jeng, party of one."
Nothing eventful has happened since I arrived back in the East Coast on Sunday. Freddy left yesterday for Florida leaving me on my own again. For some reason it doesn't feel too different from working at home except I just don't have the option of calling a friend up and hanging out - I get up early, make my commute, go to work, go home. I should probably become better friends with coworkers but it's strange since I'm only here for the week and not here very often. Most workers here are older, too.
Last night I decided to explore my surrounding area (I'm about forty-five minutes away from New York City) of East Brunswick, NJ. About a ten to fifteen minute drive away are two malls that I walked around. Nothing too exciting; a mall is a mall (unless it's the Mega Mall or malls of that ilk, I guess).
I'm tempted to venture into the city just because I'm so close but I'm not that big on walking around shopping, especially now with a budget not conducive to spending on random things. Haha. But even with that budget in mind, I'm also tempted to drive into Atlantic City, NJ and... do some sight-seeing.
Anyway, I should probably get back to work. Sorry this has been another un-exciting blog. I feel rather lacking in the amusement department. Hopefully some inspiration will find its way to me on this trip. I bet a trip to Atlantic City would remedy that. Or maybe Scores. Hmm... Haha.

No Luck
I haven't blogged a real blog in a blog time. So here's one for you, reader.
I'm in Santa Barbara right now, helping to move my sister in as she begins her Junior year as a transfer student at UCSB. She brought a good amount of stuff so we spent most of the day just moving stuff and then shopping for stuff she was missing. Then after a hard days work, we went to a local casino about 30 miles away (Chumash Casino) and played some poker. My brother and dad also played while my mom and sister hit the slots. Everyone ended up winning (except my dad) with my sister winning $500. Not too bad, right?
Later my mom told us that she had forgotten her credit card at one of the supermarkets and by now there were $2000 in charges. Retarded! I don't get why things like this happen to us. It's ridiculous. Anyway, hopefully we'll be able to get the charges wiped from the card but in the meantime, I hope you rot in hell, asshole.
I'm pretty pissed about it but I'm tired and have no other ideas on how to rant on such a subject. I should get some sleep since I'm leaving from the Santa Barbara airport (stopover in San Francisco) tomorrow morning and will be off to Newark, NJ again for some work related stuff. I'm meeting Freddy there but he's leaving on Monday so for the rest of the week I'm on my own again. Who knows what I'll do? Any suggestions?
This half-assed blog is now completed.

"Sleep is for the weak."
So here I am in the United Airlines terminal at Newark International Airport in New Jersey, ending my first two weeks of business travel. So is the life of a consultant the life for me? I guess time will tell. As of now, I can see myself continuing on this path.
How have my last two weeks been? Pretty different. Here's a run down of events:
After arriving Monday, July 4 in Newark, Freddy, my cousin-in-law and now boss, picked me up and off we headed to New York to have dinner with his brother. It was strange being in New York for another July 4 but it was cool. Good food and a good way to begin this trip.
The next day we got to work around 8AM. It was definitely a learning experience - a learning experience that continued until about 8PM that night. And then an hour or two after we got back to the hotel. In fact, I guess you could say I'm still learning and will be learning for a good while. I don't think I've ever been at a place of work for that long but for some reason it went by pretty quickly.
The next couple of days were similar up until Thursday. Freddy and I were scheduled to leave for Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday but because of hurricane warnings, decided to try to hop on a Thursday flight. If we hadn't, it was possible we would've been stuck in New Jersey for the weekend and that would've been bad news for business. We were successful in getting a flight change for free so we headed down and arrived there Thursday night.
Thursday night we took a cab to Freddy's house and were met with a house out of power. Apparently someone forgot to pay the electric bill (this is Freddy's first time being home in three weeks and my cousin, his wife, and rest of family have been in San Jose the past month and a half). So we go out to Miami, play some poker, then go to Scores in Miami (we also went to Scores in New York the night before we left for Florida). We didn't get home until around 7AM Friday. It was fun.
I'll continue this story later. I think I'm gonna order some food. I'm at the TGIFriday's having a beer and feel like cutting this story short. Besides, who's read this far anyway? Haha.

And away we go...
My cousin-in-law is a successful businessman with his own consulting firm. I don't like to ask for help in the jobs department often so last week it was with a bit of reluctance that I went to him seeing if he had any openings. It turns out he didn't really have any openings per se, but wanted to train me in the things that he does. And now my next couple of weeks are a bit booked.
He had me book a flight to New Jersey for some training. I leave on the 4th of July. I booked that yesterday. Today I just booked another flight from New Jersey to Florida on the 8th. He wants me to go there so we can set up another business opportunity he's working on. Then I fly back to New Jersey on the 11th. I'm in New Jersey until the 15th when I fly back home.
However, I may not be home for too long. It's still possible that if I do a good job, they may want me to go back on the 18th for another week or so. I definitely want to do a good job but all this travel is a bit intimidating.
I don't know if the life of a consultant is the life for me. But at least I get to find out. Wish me luck.

Google Tech
As some people might know, I'd consider myself a Google whore. I just posted the picture below using my Blogger account (Blogger is a Google-owned thing), Picasa (another Google-owned thing), and Hello (a service brought to you by Picasa brought to you by Google). I've been using Picasa for a little while now but just decided to sign up for a Hello account that allowed me to bypass uploading that pic to the ftp site, write the code to put a border around it, go into Blogger, and publish my post. All in all it was an easy enough process. This might be old news to some, but for me, I thought it was pretty cool. Hire me, Google. I'll be faithful.
Manly Manicures
I was perusing photos from my trip to the Philippines a little while ago and came across this one. I thought it was funny. So maybe it's a little gay that my mom had me get a manicure (and pedicure, too) but I did and decided to take a picture. I think this picture is funny because in the background, you can see that my brother is checking out his nails, too. Because he just got a manicure also. Haha.

So I haven't blogged about my pneumonia ordeal yet even though it happened about two weeks ago. I figured I should blog it before I forget about it.
Anyway, so earlier in the week (Tuesday, May 24), I woke up feeling like a fever was about to happen. You ever have one of those? Where you're not totally sick but you feel like you're gonna be sick soon? Anyway, I woke up with super dry mouth and feeling like a fever was gonna happen. I shrugged it off, took some Advil, and went to dinner for my parents' offical 25th wedding anniversary. Early at dinner, I was freezing and feeling sick. Then it got hot and I started sweating and feeling better. That night, I figured I was good.
The next day was normal. I didn't feel horrible, but I didn't feel right either. I just felt in a weird state.
Then on Thursday, May 26, my brother and I went to pick up chairs and tables that we needed for our parents' 25th Anniversary party that was going on at our house the same weekend. I felt fine lifting chairs and tables except it was weird because when I had to spit, I spit out some bloody phlegm. Weird. Shrugged it off and kept on truckin'.
Later that night I decided to take a nap around 8ish because I was pooped (the night before I slept at like 5 AM working on a slide show we were putting together for my parents). I couldn't get to sleep. I had planned on taking an hour long nap but while lying there I was freezing. I bundled up and that's when my toes and fingers started to go numb. This is the point where my doctor says I started hyperventilating. Still freezing, I got up and informed my parents that it was freezing and they should turn up the heat. And that my toes and fingers were numb. So they took me to the hospital.
We got to the hospital around 9:45PM. I came in wearing wool socks, sweats, a hoodie, a beanie, and a blanket. The security guard looked at me like "What the f**k?" but asked "Does he need a wheel chair?" I said I could walk so I went to go sit down. Later my mom brought me a wheel chair so I could go see the nurse briefly to see if I needed any immediate attention. He just took my temperature (102.6 at the time) and had me take off the beanie, hoodie, and blanket. It was freakin' cold.
Two hours pass and I'm finally able to... register. At registration I told the nurse my symptoms, got another temperature reading (103.1), and got my bracelet. Then went back to my seat. The nurse initially thinks its Tuberculosis. What the heck? Hm... When was the last time I had a TB shot? Been awhile I guess.
So another hour or so passes and I finally get brought in to see a doctor. He says he thinks its pneumonia, does what doctors do, and then another nurse hooks me up to an IV. Pooped, I think I fall asleep.
After I finish up that IV, I go to take some X-Rays. After that, I go back to the room I was in and get hooked up to another IV. I fall asleep again.
After finishing up that IV, I'm released with various instructions. My temperature dropped to around normal and all is well. I get to go home and look at the clock and read 7AM. I don't think that I've ever stayed at the hospital that long. Except maybe when I was born.
Fun stuff. And if you've read this far, thank you for taking concern in my health.

Congratulations, Rich!
A second degree? You're crazy, man. Sorry I missed your grad party. You should've missed it and came down to play Madden. You'll need the practice. Haha.
Geeks, unite!
First off, many many thanks to JJ. Your hospitality was very much appreciated. Sorry you had to wake up early to drive my ass to the airport. Also, many thanks to Jeff and the other SoCal guys for a fun weekend.
So yesterday I got back from LA for my geek of a weekend. It started off with my arrival in SoCal on Wednesday night. After JJ picked me up we headed straight for the theater where his friends were waiting in line (along with the other people who brought tents and tables and stuff). Of course, we were watched Star Wars: Return of the Sith on opening night. The next day, we congregated with 70,000 other nerds at E3 and got to check out the Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo Revolution. Crazy stuff. We didn't get enough so we met up again early the next day to check it out more thoroughly. Got to play Madden '06 at 60% completion. I would've liked to play it on the Xbox 360 but they didn't have that ready. The only game we got to play on the 360 was Need for Speed, I believe.
All in all, a really fun weekend. Again, many thanks to all the hosts down there. Oh, and it looks like Rich and Chris are gonna have some trouble with the next Madden.

Another one...
Haha. I thought this one was funny, too:
"Whenever I see a homeless guy, I always run back and give him money, because I think, 'Oh my God, what if that was Jesus?'"
--Pamela Anderson in TV Guide
Man... What if? Crazy.
(I'm reading this list of quotes from ESPN)

"Ice, Ice Baby," man...
Haha. I thought this was funny:
"As for music and my place in it, maybe things are changing a little bit. I know this: a good song is deeper than a tattoo. It'll remind you of the car you're driving and the girl you're going around with and the streets you're cruising. It's better than a photo album. A song is a tattoo that you never lose. 'Ice, Ice Baby,' man, you'll remember that when you're 90."

Congratulations, Mr. Sabangan
Big congratulations to a person I'd consider one of my best friends, JJ Sabangan. I'm way proud of you, bro, and I'm seriously sorry that we couldn't make it out for the festivities. I owe you big time and hopefully I'll be able to repay you soon. Have fun and enjoy it man.

Can I win the Lottery already?
Today I was scheduled to have an interview at around 1 PM. I was looking forward to it and did my research for the company and all that jazz. I didn't think I would even get this interview and there was a part of me that didn't think it was a legitmate shot. I just figured "Hey, at least I can work on my interview skills." Or so I thought. This morning the person I was supposed to interview with called and told me that he didn't want to waste my time because they already hired someone for the position. What the heck!? Why didn't you say something earlier!? Why did you even ask me to come in for an interview!? Geez!
So the lottery is $48,000,000. If I win, I'm going to offer this guy a huge pay raise for a new company I'll start. And then when he's all ready and excited for the interview I'll laugh at him and say "Just kidding." Or maybe not. That's mean.

Boxing, boxing...
Does anyone else watch The Contender? Am I doing no justice to the sweet science by watching it? I couldn't tell you who holds any boxing titles right now and I wouldn't be able to name you my favorite boxer. But it's a sport that I'm semi-interested in (while at SCU I considered joining the boxing club at one point). With Sylvester Stallone and Sugar Ray Leonard hosting, the show is a bit hokey at times but I think it's intersting following these boxers around. And while I know that the editing of the show has a lot to do with how you perceive the boxers, I think the editing done for the actual fights is pretty good because it gives you the good stuff. Sure it makes you question how real the fight was but if they could make boxing shows built off of some of the things in this show, I think boxing could have a good number of fans more.
In other news, my parents just bought a pretty phat pad in Roseville. We went to go check it out last Saturday and I really wish we were moving into this house somewhere closer in the Bay Area. It's definitely cool, though, because now we can save ourselves 2 hours on a trip to Tahoe by staying at this house. So for those of you interested in Tahoe trips, get ready cuz there's gonna be a good amount of boarding this coming winter.

Four Twenty
My brother banged on my door and yelled to me, "Kuya! Something is going down outside right now!"
He woke up to someone slamming a car door and yelling "GET ON THE GROUND!"
Outside was a man running toward the park with four undercover cops chasing him. An abandoned Honda Accord was crookedly parked in the middle of the street. Two Dodge Durangos outfitted with strobe headlights and a light bar on the inside trapped the Accord, one of them practically in our driveway.
Eventually they caught the guy in the front lawn of our neighbors and walked him to the house across the street. Two more regular squad cars rolled in with uniformed cops. They're still out there and my brother and I have yet to find out what happened. I will save my celebrating of 4/20 until after these cops are gone.

Tivo
Interesting thoughts, Jeff. My view is actually pretty opposite. I don't really like watching live TV anymore unless it's something like a football game. If there's 2 shows currently recording, I'll usually opt to watch a previously recorded show and let those other 2 finish recording. It usually disappoints me when we've caught up to time. Maybe I should stop living in the past.
Oops
Actually, scratch that. I never posted an April blog so the previous blog was the first of the month. And this is the second. There you go. Two blogs in one month. I'm on a roll.
We all live in a yellow submarine...
Finally, a new site design. It's been awhile but I finally got around to it and here it is. It's not something I'm totally happy about but I thought I'd throw it up there. It doesn't closely resemble my original idea but it is what it is. When I do new site designs, I usually like to look back at what I've done before. If you're interested, here are previous iterations: one, two, and three.
So why the site design accompanied by a new blog even when it's not the beginning of a new month? The new design is something that I've needed ever since I left for Europe (I gave up trying to figure out how to fix my old blog so now my blogs are hosted on blogspot.com). I figured a new blog should accompany the new design. And plus, I told Robyn of SoCal fame that I would start posting more blogs and give her a shout out. So there you go, Robyn.
So what's happened since my last blog? Some buddies and I rolled on down south to visit LA-LA-land. Thanks to the hospitable hosts down there. I had a ton of fun. I think I should probably send thanks to Rich for censoring some of those pics (from which that silhouette to the left is taken from -- can you find the original? haha). It was a fun trip and I'm looking forward to doing it again. And I do mean fun trip.
I think that's it for now. I don't want this blog to ramble on and on so I'm cutting it now. Those Beatles and their yellow submarine... Crazy stuff. Do you want to talk about it?

Another month...
... another blog.
Firstly, I've been meaning to do a site redesign but haven't gotten around to it. Just thought you'd like to know.
Secondly, I am mobile-phoneless. If you've tried calling me you'll know why. But if you haven't tried calling me yet, here's the deal... Over the weekend I went boarding in Lake Tahoe. After lunch I had to take care of some duties and sat perusing my phone's various features. As I was closing it, the sucker slipped out of my hand... and into the toilet. Rather than dirty my hand with nastiness, I thought I'd be smart and flush the toilet and wait for everything to clear but my phone. Apparently, Harrah's casino toilets are large enough and strong enough to suck down a phone. Go figure.
And finally, I was doing some catching up on my golf updates and the renewed Tiger and Phil rivalry when I came across what I think to be a freakin' hilarious picture. Till next month, cheers.

I really would like to have a job...
... but I know once I'll have one I'll wish I didn't. And now, on to this month's obligatory blog.
The job hunt has taken the bulk of my time. Not as much as it should but significant nonetheless. I think I'm lacking in a bit of direction right now. There's a software/web developer position that I'm interested in pursuing which goes great with my technical aspirations. But then there's this product manager position that sounds like I'd be able to make significant contributions and would be an awesome learning opportunity. And then there's this business consultant position that also has loads of learning opportunities. They're sort of three different paths on various careers. Ultimately, they could all converge, but where to start if I actually were offered a job? I'm getting ahead of myself, I know. But I'm applying to a number of different types of jobs that I really don't know where my career is headed. I've also entertained the idea of becoming a professional poker player, but who hasn't? Oh. You haven't? Me neither then.
Daydreaming of starting my own company while sitting in my chair lazily has also found time in my busy-as-a-sloth schedule. There are moments of productivity and eagerness to apply myself, but those moments are shadowed by my inertia. I really should motivate myself. Perhaps this blog will serve as the catalyst to productivity...
I think I'll go buy myself a lotto ticket. Unless anyone else would like to bankroll me three stacks of high society.

Happy New Year
So I'm a couple of days late but Happy New Year, everyone. I've been meaning to blog something of substance the past couple of weeks but haven't come up with anything to blog about. I also wanted to redesign my site and was going to do so with a new blog but I haven't gotten around to a redesign. So this is all you get.
Also, thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. They were much appreciated. Clint's birthday card was especially amusing:
To Kuya Jeng,
Stop Drinking.
From, Clint
I could review last year and tell you of the ups and downs but I'll refrain from doing so. This new year requires me to find a job and join the work force so we'll see how it compares to last year. And can you see that already? It's 2005. We're half a decade into the 2000s. Where's my flying car?
