First off, many many thanks to JJ. Your hospitality was very much appreciated. Sorry you had to wake up early to drive my ass to the airport. Also, many thanks to Jeff and the other SoCal guys for a fun weekend.
So yesterday I got back from LA for my geek of a weekend. It started off with my arrival in SoCal on Wednesday night. After JJ picked me up we headed straight for the theater where his friends were waiting in line (along with the other people who brought tents and tables and stuff). Of course, we were watched Star Wars: Return of the Sith on opening night. The next day, we congregated with 70,000 other nerds at E3 and got to check out the Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo Revolution. Crazy stuff. We didn't get enough so we met up again early the next day to check it out more thoroughly. Got to play Madden '06 at 60% completion. I would've liked to play it on the Xbox 360 but they didn't have that ready. The only game we got to play on the 360 was Need for Speed, I believe.
All in all, a really fun weekend. Again, many thanks to all the hosts down there. Oh, and it looks like Rich and Chris are gonna have some trouble with the next Madden.
