This probably doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things but I thought it was interesting. Mike Mularkey, the Steelers' current offensive coordinator who I think would be kind of cool as Niner head coach, was a draft pick as a tight end in the 1983 draft. Who drafted him? Bill Walsh of the 49ers, but Mularkey never played for the Niners. I don't know what happened. Perhaps he wasn't good enough.
