For whatever reason, I remembered this from elementary school P.E. class. It was probably second or third grade, possibly higher, and our P.E. coach was having us run laps around the field. There were no real pathways to follow, just the shape of the field. But he did notice that people were cutting the corners and offered this piece of advice: "Don't cut corners because if you cut corners now, you'll be cutting corners later on in life. And not in just running." How deep and profound. I thought at the time, "HAHA! Yeah right. I'm a smart kid. This is just running. I won't be cutting corners all the time."



That fucker was right. I now cut corners left and right.



And with that note, I leave for D&B's to procrastinate on a damn project and studying for a quiz. Damn you Coach McCrone and your prophetic statement.
