Weekend updates have been scarce around these parts but I figure that since procrastination still controls me, I thought I'd put into words what I did in reality. So about here, you can stop reading because I know this interests no one.

On the work front, my boss gave me a rather ample amount of work to do so on Friday I was stuck there till around 6:30ish (which reminds me, I brought home some work to do which I still have to do). Following that, my cousin picked me up and we headed over to my other cousin's surprise birthday party over at Gordon Biersch. I didn't drink as much as I was hoping but it was a buffet. And, uh, I was hungry. I didn't know Gordon Biersch had buffets.

Saturday we played some football in the afternoon and my body still hasn't forgiven me. I'm pretty damn sore. On a sidenote, I can't find my frickin' new football. Dammit! I left it in the Suburban last week, never took it out, and when I go look for it again today, it's not in there. What the hell is that? My sister's the one who's been using the Suburban and she says she doesn't know of a football that was in there. I think she's lying. Hahaha.

Later in the evening, we watched The Ring. I thought the movie was good and at the time, pretty damn scary. And on the way home it was pretty scary, too. So, I'm a big fraidy cat.

Sunday I watched the Niners beat the Raiders. Just when I was growing in confidence with Mr. Cortez, you find out he's on the Raider-fan's payroll. Hey kicker! Just because your family roots for the Raiders doesn't mean you are one. Sheesh.

And now I think I should work on the work I need to work on.
