i risk absurdity is my new screen name. Please direct your Instant Messages to that name instead of xaltdone. However, I will not be deleting xaltdone, so you may see me on that name from time to time. I've had that for a long, long time. I think it goes all the way back to 1994-95. Yeah, I've been a geek that long.
Actually, longer. You ever try doing a CAD drawing on a 286? Didn't think so. I'm talking a blazing 25MHz, 16KB RAM, 5" floppy disk drive, MS-DOS machine, from what I remember. What do you got nowadays? 2GHz (~2000MHz), 1GB (~1,000,000KB) RAM, DVD-RW drive. Kids these days. And for you folk who have used even older machines - whoa.

By the way, later this week we should be able to put our website up. If I understand my copyright laws correctly, all I have to do is put copyright and it should be copyrighted. Same with trademarks. But, officially, if I wanted to spend the money, I could register it. I don't want to spend money. So here - so none of you can steal our stuff:

weekend update: For those of you who didn't know, some friends and I went down south for the weekend to attend audiotistic. Pretty phat. Our group got there a little late, but I thought it was ok since I didn't really know the lineup before that. We arrived for the first performance I was really looking forward to: DJ QBert and Money Mark. Dope. That was awesome. Later on, Mos Def performed and that was sweet. Unfortunately, standing that long hurt my feet, so we left the hip hop venue for a short while. We missed a couple of performances - Blackalicious, The Roots, Talib Kwali - but that's ok. We did see most of the final act - Outkast. That was dope. All in all, an Excellent weekend. Extremely and insanely fun, in my opinion. Others might not have thought it that way, but I thought it was perhaps one of the funnest weekends I've had - close friends, good music, and besides the heat, long lines and large amount of people, I thought it was a pretty nice atmosphere. I just wish there were more opportunities to enjoy time like that.

fo'dees blunts blunts fo'dees
Weekend update: A lot of stuff went down this weekend. All pretty good. On Friday, played some Halo with the cousins. Good stuff. Saturday was packed with some tiring activities. In the afternoon, the family went over to Ikea where I purchased a new desk. I wanted a new one with more space to work on, so I bought one. My brother bought a new couch bed which is pretty nice. Later in the evening, picked up Chris and rolled over to a little hotel party for Rich's birthday. Had some drinks and more fun. On Sunday, built the desk I bought and did some homework. Fun.

I've been having trouble with blogger lately, so some of the stuff may not be working properly. A new test design is up here so check it out. Once I finish up with the rest of the design, everything here will be migrated there.
D devastate I impress Z zestfully clean and fresh
Sorry for the long break, but I'm back. Earlier I was having a couple of problems with blogger but I think I fixed it. Also, if you didn't know that I got back from Las Vegas Monday morning (~2am), now you know.
Weekend Update: Las Vegas was awesome. The usual stuff but not as much drinking as I was expecting. Fun nonetheless. Can't wait to go again.
School just started today. Still not that cool.
Job starts Monday. Hopefully will be cool.
